Tuesday August 21

3-6PM              Nature Center Open

6-7PM              Fishing Demo-Meet at the Pier at the Beach. Bring your fishing pole, Bait, Net and a bottle of Water!

Wednesday August 22

11AM-12PM      Black Bear-Let’s talk about Black Bears in the Nature Center. Learn about hibernation and what they eat to survive all winter. Also, what to do if you come across one!

12-4PM              Nature Center Open

1-2PM              Twister-Fun game of Twister in the Activity Center.  All Ages Welcome.

3-5PM              Craft-Have some fun with pipe cleaners and beads in the Activity Center! All Ages Welcome.

Thursday August 23

10-11AM          Wood Duck-Learn all about our Native Wood Ducks in the Nature Center.

11AM-3PM        Nature Center Open

1-3PM              Card Games-Variety of Card Games will be available for your enjoyment! All Ages Welcome in the Activity Center.

4-5PM              Lawn Darts-Lawn Darts will be set up outside of the Activity Center!  All Ages Welcome.

Friday August 24

2-4PM              Games-Variety of Outdoor Games await you at the Activity Center. Bring a friend for some added fun!

4:30-6PM         Scavenger Hunt-Bring your phone to take pictures as you go Hunting for objects! Scavenger Hunt Sheets will be in the Activity Center when the event starts! Ages 5-14 First 3 back with all the pictures will get a PRIZE!

5-6PM              Blue/Green Winged Teal-Learn about Our Native Winged Teal in the Nature Center!

6-9PM              Nature Center Open

9:30-10:30PM  Bug Lighting-Come and see some of the Night Bugs you don’t normally see at the Park Amphitheater!

Saturday August 25

7-8:30AM         Bird Hike-Take a Hike to the Observation tower and see the many birds that make their home at Atwood Lake!

9AM-12PM        Nature Center Open

10AM               Yoga on the Beach-Be Yoga Studio of Dover is offering free Yoga at the Beach the last Saturday of each month. This is the last one of the season so don’t miss it!

12-2PM            Bald Eagle-Learn about the Bald Eagle in Ohio. In the Nature Center. And Learn where you may be able to see them here at Atwood Lake.

Sunday August 26

9AM                 Non-Denominational Worship Service-Park Amphitheater

9-11PM            Moonlight Kayak-Enjoy a kayak tour of Atwood Lake by the light of the Full Moon! Kayak, paddle, life jacket and light provided. Or bring your own. Boat Capacity limits apply, 325 lbs for single kayaks and 500 lbs for tandem kayaks.  Must be 12 years old and older. $25 per participant includes gate fee, instruction and equipment.
