Friday, June 16
6-8pm - Traveling Nature Program – Watch for our program staff traveling through the camp area with information about spiders!
Saturday, June 17
8am - Atwood 10-mile & 5K Race – Race details at https://www.race-brimstone.com/atwood-10-miler-5k
2-3pm - Guided Nature Hike – Meet at the Welcome Center parking lot to take a hike along the Woodland Trail to learn about the history of Atwood Lake and search for creatures along the way. Be prepared for up to a 2-mile hike with hiking shoes or sneakers and a bottle of water.
4-5pm - Canvas Painting Craft for Teens – Meet at the Activity Center Shelter to make a fun painting. For ages 12 and up.
6-7pm - My Dad Rocks Craft – Celebrate Father’s Day and meet at the Nature Center to paint a rock with the special guy in your life! We will be placing the rocks in the park to create a unique piece of art.
9-11pm - Movie at the Lake– Bring your blankets and camp chairs to the grassy area beside the Activity Center to watch a movie on the BIG screen! The movie is rated PG-13 and will start at dusk. Nights get chilly so bring layers or a blanket!
9-10am - Non-denominational Church Service – Meet at the small amphitheater, weather permitting.
