Pollinator Weekend

Friday, June 23

5-9 pm - Traveling Nature Program – Look out for traveling program staff on the golf cart as they travel through the camp areas stopping at campsites with all pollinator information!

Saturday, June 24

10-11am - Yoga at the Beach – Join BeYoga Studios for a relaxing yoga session on the beach! All experience levels are welcome. Please bring your own yoga mat or beach towel. Suggested donation of $5-10 per person. Admission into the lake is free when you mention the yoga event at the gate.

11am-12pm - All About Pollinators! – Learn about the importance of pollinators and learn about how butterflies begin their lives – as caterpillars!! Meet at the Activity Center Shelter.

1-2pm - Pollinator Nest Box Craft for All Ages – Visit the Activity Center Shelter and make a mason bee box to provide a nesting location for these native bees.

5-6pm - Plant Swap & Craft for Adults – Bring a healthy plant to trade then make a craft to add to your favorite houseplant! Share stories, ask questions, and take a new plant home. Plants can be for indoors or outdoors, or even a seed packet! Make sure to label your plant and provide general information about sun and water requirements. Meet at the Activity Center Shelter

7-8pm - Game Time – Meet at the Activity Center Shelter to challenge a friend or family member to a board game!

Sunday, June 25

9-10am - Non-denominational Church Service – Meet at the small amphitheater, weather permitting.
