Friday, October 13                   Halloween Weekend

5-8pm              Traveling Program – Look for our traveling program staff on a golf cart stopping at campsites with program schedules and craft kits!

8:30-9:30pm    Night Hike – Discover the sounds of the night on a guided night hike along the Woodland Trail! Meet at the Welcome Center Trailhead. Be prepared for a 2-mile walk with sneakers or hiking boots.

Saturday, October 14

 

10-11am        Bat Craft for Kids – Meet at the LARGE WHITE TENT near the Welcome Center parking lot to make a bat craft and learn about these amazing creatures!

12-1pm          Halloween Craft for Adults – Make a fall decoration at the LARGE WHITE TENT near the Welcome Center parking lot! While supplies last.

1:30-2:15pm   LIVE Animals – Meet at the Activity Center shelte LARGE WHITE TENT near the Welcome Center parking lot to learn about many amazing animals with the Oglebay Zoo to You program!

2:30-3pm       Costume Parade & Contest (Pets Included!) – Keep your costume on and come to the sports court area near the Activity Center for a fun contest. Prizes will be given to top costume in each division! Divisions include ages 0-6, ages 7-11, ages 12-17, adults 18+, and pets.

3-5pm         Trick-or-Treat – Dress up in your Halloween costumes to walk around the park and get treats at participating campsites!

6-7pm           T-shirt Tie Dye – *New Halloween Design* Make a colorful and unique creation in the grass near Activity Center Shelter! T-shirts will be available for purchase, cash only. Youth sizes are $5 each, adult sizes are $10 each. Sizes are first come, first served. While supplies last.

7-9pm           Haunted Hayride – Organized by the Tusky Valley Ruritans & Fairfield Township Fire Department. Canceled due to the weather.

9-11pm          Movie at the Lake – Watch this spooky, fun movie on the BIG screen in the grassy area beside the Activity Center. Movie is rated PG-13. Bring your own chairs or blankets to sit on and extra layers for the chilly nights!
